Admiral Bruce Richardson CB RN (Rtd) - Formerly Chief Harbourmaster Port of London Authority and expert in Port/Marine Operations, Safety and Security.
Tim Parker is an independent international consultant with extensive SAR experience, in Maritime SAR systems, consultancy and training, and oil spill modelling systems.
Squadron Leader 'Perry' Mason is an extremely experienced aviator with many years in search and rescue and counter polution operations. Perry was previously with Air Atlantique (now RVl-Group) and serviced the UK MCA counter pollution contract.
Christopher Samuel - a freelance consultant in National Security, Resilience and Defence issues. With former experience gained in the Royal Navy & Defence Industry he is an Associate Fellow for Homeland Security in the Royal United Services Institute, RUSI.
Brian Wadsworh FCILT FRSA - a member of Poltics International and an independent consultant in Policy, Strategy, and Influencing. Brian was until recently the Head of Logistics Maritime Transport (LMT) with the Department of Transport, and is currently the Chair of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Captain Hatim Gh Al-Bisher IMLA - graduate in maritime economics from Arab Academy of Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, Egypt, and a Masters in International Law, Malta. Established the first rescue co-ordination centre in Saudi and wrote their first SAR manual. An expert in Saudi SAR and maritime policy. Currently studying for PhD in maritime policy at Newcastle University, England.
William Richard Smith BA(Hons), MBA, MBCI, MBCS, MCMI - Head of Business Continuity Management with UNICEF in New York. Bill is a consumate professional in his field and has specialised in developing and implementing Business Continuity Management in Government and the Public Sector at agency, national, European and global levels. He is one of the authors for the Lloyds Maritiime Academy Distance Learning Course in Managing Maritime Emergencies - Risk Management. Bill is an acredited Business Continuity professional through his membership of the Business Continuity Institute. He is also a member of both the Chartered Management Institute and the British Computer Society. In additon to BC Management Bill's career has also inclued Training and Development, IT Service Management, Maritime Search Planning and Operations Management and Project Management.
Scott Russell Former Senior Executive with the Canadian Coast Guard and Special Advisor to the UK CEO and Chief Coastguard of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Scott is based in New Brunswick, Canada and deals with the North American business.
Captain Gabe Kinney USCG (Ret) is currently a private consultant, advisor, lecturer and globally recognized expert on International Maritime Safety and Security. He is also President of the Association For Rescue at Sea (AFRAS), and a Visiting Professor at the World Maritime University in Malmö, Sweden and Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, People’s Republic of China.Captain Kinney also has 28 years experience in the U.S. Coast Guard, primarily in leadership and management positions in a variety of USCG missions including Search and Rescue (SAR), Law Enforcement, Aids to Navigation, Maritime Safety, and Maritime Security. He is a recognized international authority on SAR and other operational topics, including maritime communications. He has extensive experience in human resource management and is an expert in public relations and external communications.
Dr Jerry Stanely (Rondle Ltd) FIMarEST, MInstP, CEng, CPhys, CSci, CMarEng, CMarSci, Prince 2 Project Manager - has a wide range of experience in maritime topic areas in the civil and defence arenas. Expertise includes contingency planning, maritime pollution preparedness and response, pollution monitoring, the marine environment, safe navigation, e-maritime, identifying approaches to effective service delivery, risk based analyis/identification of risk control options, engagement of stakeholder groups, policy based studies, maritime rescue service optimisation, maritime data analysis, operational analysis, at sea-trials - planning and conduct, operation of experimental facilities, hyrodynamic testing and underwater acoustics.
